2024: A Year of Growth and Impact
2024 was a remarkable year for the OneGoat Foundation, marked by both challenges and significant achievements. We experienced an unprecedented demand for assistance from our first responders, leading to a temporary pause in awards in June. But we responded to this challenge with determination and innovation.
Fundraising Success
Our First Responders of the Year Celebration and Charity Golf event was a resounding success, raising close to $250,000. This milestone brought our total fundraising efforts to over $1 million since our inception in 2020. From June 2023 to June 2024, OneGoat donated more than $140,000 to Colorado first responders, totaling over $400,000 donated since the beginning of our mission.

Expanding Our Reach
To ensure we can continue to meet the growing need for financial assistance, we implemented several strategic changes. We introduced three new fundraising events: the HUNT (March), the RIDE (May), and the RELEASE (December). Additionally, we shifted our First Responder Celebration Golf and Gala event to the end of summer.
Strategic Funding Allocation
In addition to expanding our fundraising efforts, we are also refining our grant allocation strategy. We are committed to providing comprehensive support to our first responders, and to that end, we are establishing dedicated funding buckets for our main categories of assistance: Direct Financial Assistance, Mental and Physical Wellness Therapy, Funeral Expense Support, and Travel Expenses. This approach will enable us to allocate resources more effectively and ensure that we can address the diverse needs of our first responder community.
